Antithesis

A portrait series inspired by the subjects themselves. Each subject was someone I knew on a deep personal level, and I wanted to capture an image as opposite to their personality and perception as I could. For some, the result revealed something new to the subject, and for others, the final photograph was something almost inconsequential. Both these outcomes were fittingly in opposition to the subject. But for all, the process of discomfort during the shoot itself was the most important part.
