Seven Deadly Sins
An opera at New World Symphony in Miami about judgement being reflective of those who pass it
The family of judgers, burdened by physical representations of their “sins. This is their appearance at the end of the opera.
Striped ensembles by Wilberth Gonzalez, Hats by Candy Warhol, Foam and Rope Harnesses by Tommy Heidebrecht
The sketch of the family in their final form. Each family member is meant to represent combination of the sins. There was an element of gender disregard - the mother role is written as a Baritone, typically a male voice, and one of the brothers was a transgender countertenor. However, this is never addressed in the opera.
